I found out i was pregnant on nov 18th 2005.I was 18 with my 1st child me and my partner of 7 years
were so excited about the news.In april 2006 i found out i was having a girl and we liked the name
Skye calyn.She was due 15th august.
On the 31st of july everything was fine baby was active.But on august the 1st i told my friend i
havent felt the baby kick and my ankles were swollen.She told me to phone midwife so i did,the
midwife phoned the hospital told me to go straight there.My partner sister came with me for
support,as soon as i got there they took me down for a scan,i looked up and seen my partener sister
crying.Then the midwife held my hand and told me sorry but there's no heart beat.
I was so shocked i couldn't cry, i didn't belive it.So i phoned my partenr he was working away and
explained what has just happened his boss brought him home straight away.then we both went to see
the consultant he said go home tonight and we will induce you tommorow.
august 2nd going to hospital to be induced i was so upset couldn't think about anything else but
what she would look like.I was waiting for a miricle to happen,for them to say she was alive.They
induced me at 5:00pm she was born at 10:40pm weighing 6lb 12oz the first thing the midwife,partner
and mother said was she's beautiful.
They done a postmortum and said it was placenta adruption so it was lack of oxygen to the brain.
The funeral was on 14th august we played your beautiful by James blunt,and put a photo of me and my
partner in the coffin also a teddy,partners mothers wedding ring and braclet.
In September 2007 i found out i was pregnant again it was a girl named Sienna weighs 5lb 14oz she
was born 29th march 2008 at 37 weeks, they induced me early just incase the same thing happened
again it was the happiest day of my life,but still think about skye everyday.

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard Him say.
"A Mother has a baby"
This we know is true
"But God can you be a Mother,
when your baby's not with you?"
"Yes, you can," He replied
With confidence in His voice
"I give many women babies,
When they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay."
"I just don't understand this God
I want my baby to be here."
He took a deep breath and cleared His throat,
And then I saw the tear.
"I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child's smile,
With all the other children and say..."
We go to earth to learn our lessons,
Of love and life and fear,
My mommy loved me oh so much,
I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mom,
Who had so much love for me
I learned my lessons very quickly
My mommy set me free.
I miss my mommy oh so much
But I visit her every day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillows were I lay
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear
Mommy don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I'm here."
"So you see my dear sweet ones,
Your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My home
And this is where they'll stay."
"They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lessons through.
And on the day that you come home
they'll be at the gates for you.
So now you see what makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart
It's the love you had so much of

Though some on earth may not realize
